"RELUCTANT VIRGIN", 19TH BS

HII`m looking forthe serial number of an aircraft named "Reluctant Virgin", from the 19th BS, not sure of the aircraft type. Any clues?

Hello - 5th AF 22nd BG was the first BG to use Martin B-26 Marauder in 1942, after the attack on Pearl Harbor. They used planes from the first productin batch of 201 planes. As you might know, the Doolittle Raiders (12th AF 17th BG) used the B-25 for their special mission, but converted to B-26 after that, and flew the B-26 in combat for the first time in North Africa at the very end of 1942. I have no record on "Reluctant Virgin", so if you have the serial on that plane I would be glad to hear. There was a "Reluctant Dragon" in the 22nd BG serial 40-1406, also "Virginian" serial 40-1499.

My father, SSgt Richard "Dick" L. McIntyre, USAF (Sep) was assigned to this
aircraft sometime during the Korean conflict...I have a little bit more info
and a couple of pics and would love to share with anyone interested or has
more info...unfortunately, I don't have any pictures with the tail number.
