Patch Identification

I have recently started trying to research my grandfather's war history and need some help identifying, what I believe to be, his squadron patch from his jacket.  I believe he was in the 5th Air Force serving in the South Pacific.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Alex

    Alex,

This is the insignia of the 69th Troop Carrier Squadron,
433d Troop Carrier Group, Fifth AAF.

Yup, 69th. My Dad, Dominick Kasmauskas jr was a SSgt Mechanic in Engineering Section of the 69th. I have a book, "Backload" with many pictures of the 433rd TCG and 54th Wing of 5th AF, what was your Grandfather's name?...I'll take a look and see if he is in there. At least he should be listed in back of book where hundreds of 433rd members and addreses are listed.
