P-51D 44-72149 - 09/18/2007 05:27:40 AM
Hi Everyone

...I know this is probably looking for a tiny needle in a massive haystack, but I dont suppose anyone has an image of P-51D 44-72149 that was transfered from the 7thPG to become QI - S , pictured in its 356th markings ?

Thank you for reading this, and for taking the time.

Regards

Nate

Hi Jim,

That's extremely kind of you. However, I have been passed this picture just recently. It is the reason I posted the thread. This plane was later named 'Hienie' not long after this shot here was taken, and then it moved on to the 356th, and wasn't sure whether of image of it (in its final days) with them exists.

Most generous of you to make the effort!

Nate
