P-51 44-72076 354th FG? - 11/12/2007 12:57:17 PM
I would very much appreciate if anyone could help me with some info about P-51 44-72076, or tell me where to search for more info. The aircraft was lost 20 April 1945, MACR 1401. Location of crash? Name of the pilot?

44-72076 FT-A of 353rd FS was being flown by Francis J O'Connell when lost south of Prague.  He became a POW but I have no details of the circumstances of the loss.  44-72076 was assigned to Frederick R Canada at the time.  MACR should give you the circumstances and a more exact location.
