I,m looking for info about P-47  42-106923  "Daddy Potz"  357FG  364FS
Plane crashed on 18-9-1944.
Where crashed this plane ?
Who was the pilot ?

Hi Michel,
 
Believe plane was called "Daddy's Pet" and serial is for a P-51B (?)
 
Plane lived a charmed life, but lost on 18th Sep '44 Capt. B. Seitzinger - Evaded. MACR 8791.

Hello colleagues,
 
P-51 B 42-106923 C5-S "Almost" crashed in my vicinity (Moers-Duisburg area) 18.9.44 appr. 16.30 hrs. Capt. Bernard Carl Seitzinger b/o and POW. Later he was fatally shot down in Korea 27.11.1951 (claim by Russian MiG pilot Yevgeni Pepelyayev).
