Hello friends, i'm researching about these particular mission: two b-26 was shot down before the p-47 was able to react, but one of the enemy A/C was also shot down. This was a great result, because the B-26 has been jumped by FOUR me-262! The b-26 survivors stated that three Me-262 jumped their planes: i guess that at least one of the four me-262 stated in the Lt. Hack MACR was shot down or was in fight before attacking the bombers. A last note: That messerschmitt is believed to be flown by one of the major german aces, Ghunter Lutzow.

Cheers

Mick
