i,m looking for info of P-47  44-20084  366 FG
the plane crashed on 11-18-1944. Macr 10572
Who was the pilot ? and where crashed this plane ...

P-47D-28-RE tail number 44-20084 was piloted by Lt Duane E. Lund of the 390 Fighter Squadron flying out of field A-70 in Laon, France.  Lt Lund was shot down on 11-18-44 outside of Euskirchen, Germany by 88mm flak.  He survived and was held as a POW until the end of the war.  Lt Lund was a friend of the family and I'm doing research on his WWII service.  Any information would be most appreciated.
