Operation Repulse December 1944 - 03/22/2007 09:04:58 AM
My step-father, Walton D. Reese was a glider pilot assigned to the 434rd TCS/74th TCS from November 1944 until Jan 1946. He initially departed for England in November 1944 but other than flying for the 436th TCG/82nd TCS in March 1945 for Operation Varsity I am not able to document other flights. I do know that he was awarded 3 bronze stars and one arrowhead for his EAME Theater Service Medal. I am interested in finding more information about other glider missions that he flew that might include other crew members, glider tail numbers and possibly aviation cadet classmates in Lubbock possibly prior to his departure for England in 1942 -1944?
