"KEEP THE SHOW ON THE ROAD"
at 384th Bombardment Group (Heavy)

For comprehensive research information and the latest news on the 384th Bombardment Group (Heavy), visit 384th Bomb Group at our online home. While the website continues to grow, you can already take advantage of the following:
  • Complete PERSONNEL database. All 384th combat and support personnel, as well as personnel from units assigned to Station 106, Grafton Underwood Airfield in support of the 384th.
  • Complete AIRCRAFT database. All B-17 aircraft operated by 384th personnel during the war.
  • Complete MISSION database. All combat missions flown by 384th personnel during the war.
The AIRCRAFT and MISSION databases are fully integrated - you can find all the aircraft that flew a mission, or vice versa, at the click of a button. And, we are integrating the PERSONNEL database in this way, so that (when completed) you can display all the combat crewmembers who participated in a mission, and whether they returned safely or not. Visit the website and see how we are doing!

The website has additional research resources, too. There is an extensive Photo Gallery, Missing Air Crew Reports (nearly complete), Accident Reports (soon to be added), etc. You should also visit Memories of the 384th Bombardment Group (Heavy), which is the Internet version of Ken Decker's 384th history (implementation in progress in 2009).

Of course you will find the latest information on group activities - reunions, newsletters and such - as well as membership

You will also find information on how to contribute material to the website - the site relies on participation by visitors to gather the information needed to complete the story of the Group. Please visit, and help us continue to expand the most complete source of 384th Bomb Group information anywhere.
