New Hell Hawks Book

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you all know about a new book on the Hell Hawks - 365th FG, that will be coming out soon. This looks to be a fine book and welcome addition to History of the Hell Hawks by Charles Johnson and The Hell Hawks by Robert Dorr.     Tom, I'm so sorry. I remembered Robert Dorr and another author wrote The Hell Hawks, but I'm at work and could not remember your name. Please accept my apologies. I bought my copy of your book when it came out or else I would get an autographed copy from you. This new book, Thunderbolts of the Hell Hawks looks like it will be very, very good. A great addition to your book and Chales Johnson's Unit History.

    I'm grateful for James' kind words. There's no way he could know that I hate to be called "Robert Dorr."
    "Hell Hawks: The Untold Story of the American Fliers Who Savaged Hitler's Wehrmacht," by Robert F. Dorr and Thomas D. Jones about the P-47 Thunderbolt-equipped 365th Fighter Group was published in March 2008 and is still a viable, active title today, available in both hardcover and softbound editions. I can provide signed, first-edition copies of the hardcover with both authors' signatures at (703) 264-8950. Writing this book was a terrific partnership between Tom and me, and we've been delighted with the kind words we've gotten from James and others.
