Need help with markings on AFF suitcase

Need some assitance. I purchased an officers suitcase and need help deciphering what is printed on it. I had another thread on the officer but have yet to figure out much about him. Hoping the markings can tell me something. As they appear on the suitcase:
 
Lt Fred Lause
0-833544
FR-555-a1(maybe an i)
      6
Any help will be appreciated. As a side note if the weather hold up Ill be taking a ride on the B17 "Nine O Nine". Very excited about that.

    I'm pretty sure that is my grandfather. Unfortunately he passed in December of 2010 and I don't have a great deal of information on his service records or anything but It's not a common name and he was a LT in the Air force. I'd love to see a picture of the suitcase if it's possible to show my Grandmother. She might be able to provide some more information for you. If you ever feel like parting with it please keep me in mind!
