Need Serial Number - 02/22/2006 08:15:42 PM
A B-24 was lost over the Owen Stanley Mountains, Papua New Guinea on 12/20/42, belonging to the 40th Bomb Squadron, 90th B0mb Group.  I would like if someone could give me the serial number of this plane.  Two of the crew members names is 2nd Lt. John M. Rafferty, and 2nd Lt. Eric J. Day.  Thank You:    John

John, what info do you have on this crash? Specifically am interested in what hapened. I am also interested in the co pilot Eric J Day, 2lt.
