Need Information On P-47 - 04/04/2006 03:27:30 AM
A P-47 was lost when it crashed into the ocean about 75 miles south of Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea on 9/18/44.  The plane belonged to the 41st Fighter Squadron, 35th Fighter Group, and the pilots name is 2nd Lt. Denby D. Noble.  Could someone please give me the serial number of this plane.
