Need Enlistment / WWII Service Info on Col. Herbert O. Morrison - Famous For Being May 6, 1937 Announcer During Hindenburg Disaster.
Name: Herbert (Herb) O. Morrison
Born May 14, 1905  Pennsylvania
Died January 10, 1989 West Virginia
I Have a April 6, 1946 newspaper report showing him as a Colonel and flying into Latrobe, PA airport in a BE-13
I need his dates of service, enlistment #, etc.
Please post here and email me if you have any solid info. I have checked some databases and cannot find him!
