Need Correct Date - 03/30/2006 07:26:03 PM

A P-47, serial number 42-76039 was last seen to crash into the sea about 25 miles north of Pommeru Bay, Papua New Guinea. The plane belonged to the 310th Fighter Squadron, 58th Fighter Group. Could someone please give me the correct date of this crash. Right now I have two dates listed they are 6/16/44 and7/3/44. The name of the pilot is 1st Lt. Burdett M. Page. Thank You: John
