Mission Report of 20 March 1944 - 06/08/2008 12:50:27 PM
Hello,

Does anybody have a copy of the mission report of the
20 of March 1944? I would like to know what was reported that day about the 360 FS.
I'm investigating the loss of 2 pilots of 360 Fs who were shot down that day.
Thanks,

Alexander

Alexander -
I Checked POW Data base at www.nara.gov
Neither of them are listed - The Data Base is incomplete.

"kathleen Ann" was Ray Withers' plane, named for his wife.  Ray (and Kathleen) lives in Florida.  I've had several great conversations with him.  I also was in touch with Howard Maupin's son (Keith, I think ). I don't remember exactly but I think I put Keith in touch with Ray.

Philip McCullough 1916 - 1978 Massachusettes
Charles Garvey jr. 1920 - 1980 Tennessee

Andy Mays in Maine

Hello,

Thanks for the information. I've started my investigation of the crash of Howard Maupin +/- 2 years ago. I'm in touch with the Maupin family and I'm busy to reconstruct the whole story (mission, crash, escape itinerary, etc.). The place of crash of Howard's P-47 isn't so fare away from my home.

Regards,

Alexander
