Mission #1 to Rouen
-
04/01/2008 01:30:05 PM
Does anyone have or know of information/pictures on the planes, crews and narratives of the Rouen mission. I was sent the names of the 12 ships but not their numbers, crew lists or load list. Also, there was no mention of the names of the 6 diversionary ships. I can find pictures of Berlin Sleeper, Yankee Doodle, and Stinky but not much more than general info. I would think since it was tauted as an historic mission there would be mounds of info.

Thanks guys! I don't have the list of names I recieved on me but I remember a few names of the top of my head. Little Bill- (Major Rudy Flack?) King Kondor (41-9024 from Charlie Merlo) Johnny Reb (41-9089 from Charlie Merlo) Alabama Exterminator 41-9022 *Peggy D - 41- 9043 (Captain Fred Dallas?) *Stinky 41-9045 (Pilot Thomas M Hulings, Co-pilot James Kemp McLaughlin?) I think this was one of the diversionary planes but Charlie Merlo attributes it to his 414th Squadron.
