Luc, here's what I have: 42-107598 TQ-G of 559th BS 387th BG was named Miss Kam (former Blond Rebel). Pilot was 1st Lt. William O. Pile. The a/c was shot down by fighters, exploded in mid-air. 1st Lt. Pile is listed on "The Wall Of The Missing" at Ardennes Cemetery, Belgium. Target was Mayen Bridge over Notte River in Germany. 36 Marauders went airborne and was attacked a few miles East of Bastogne by about 25 Me-109's. Five 387th Marauders shot down, of those four from 559th BS. The story of 559th BS is not precise regarding the various crews. A total of 37 Marauder Men went down over enemy territory on December 23rd 1944. At least 12 were taken POW. 15 were KIA. The rest seems to have survived. Some crewmembers of the 557th BS-ship parachuted and landed near Wittry in Belgium.

If actual I can list the 387th crew members buried at various cemeteries and "The Wall Of The Missing".

Luc,
I don't have the Missing Air Crew Report for this loss, but in addition to "Deefeater's" information, I can add the following:

This aircraft was shot down by Me-109 fighters at Bastogne, Belgium on it's 68th combat mission.

The crew were as follows:

1st Lt. William O Pile (pilot) - killed
2nd Lt. Robert W Ward (Co-pilot) - killed
2nd Lt. John J Walsh (bombardier) - POW
1st Lt. John C Luce (navigator) - POW
Cpl. Belden H Hall (radio operator) - POW
T/Sgt. George W Danner (engineer) - POW
S/Sgt. Milfred L Becker (tail gunner) - POW
S/Sgt. Frank L Stauch (passenger) - POW
2nd Lt. Harold Ovis (passenger) - survived

Regards
