Erich it was 364FG mission 218 escort to Brux on Oct. 7th 1944 ; the 163 was shot down (bellied-in) by Lts. Willard Erfkamp and Elmer Taylor and strafed on the ground.
The photo is reputedly from Erfkamp's gun camera and the pilot is named as Fw. Rudy Zimmerman. A couple of sources say their victim was an Me.262 but this is certainly a 163. They were awarded a half share each.
