Hello Olivier, I'm back to this old thread.I'm searching for the operation report for september 2 for 367th FG. To my knowledge, 394th FS did not fly that day.So, I'm wondering wich squadrons attacked a german column between the French border and the city Boussu, SE of MONS, on saturday 2 arround 14h30. According to eyewitnesses, they were P38 and serious sources state they belonged to 367th FG. Thanks for your help. Phil

Dear Phil, You will find in attachment the OPERATION REPORT for SEP 2, 1944. Only the 394th FS flew that day and it seems that they do not find any target due to bad weather. I hope that it can help you. Olivier

Bien cordialement, Phil

Hi Phil, I checked yesterday evening in the book of Jay Jones about the 370th FG and in the book by Lt Steinko about the 428th FS (474th FG) if they had some records for Sep 3, 1944. The 370th flew an armed recce around 18h in the areas of Mons, Bressel and Namur. The 428th FS flew an armed recce in the Beauvais, Cambrais-Mons-Tournai areas. So all is possible for your german column. I'll send you by private message some scans as soons as they are ready. Olivier
