MACR crew position codes? - 10/20/2006 04:31:01 PM
I just received MACR 14614 for the loss of B-29, 42-63567, "The City of Providence" from the 30th BS, 19th BG on June 10, 1945. Does anyone know the crew position codes? Here is the list of codes on the report. The only one I can positively identify is that of the pilots, Code A. The rest I have question marked with an educated guess on some.

A........... two positions, both pilots
B............???????????????Bombardier??????????????
MX C.......might be HX C??????????????Radar Operator?????????
D............???????????????
N............???????????????Navigator??????
G............???????????????
O............??????????????
I.............??????????????
R............??????????????Radio Operator????????????????
K............??????????????????????????????

Thank you,
Patrick McKeon
