 Lt.Miller and Jeter crash in Holland

Lt.Miller and Jeter crash in Holland - 03/26/2006 10:15:02 AM
25-11-1944,crashed;Den Burg,Island of Texel,Holland,P-51D,44-14969,353 FG/350 FS,2/Lt.W.L.Miller
 
25-11-1944,time,12.53,crashed;Wittem,Limburg,Holland,P-51D,44-14972,353 FG/351 FS,2/Lt.J.W.Jeter
 
Den Burg,Island of Texel is in the North of Holland and Wittem,Limburg is near the Belgium border
Is it strange that they flew so far away from eachother,and crashed both ??

Jaap             there were 2 missions, 347 and 348. Miller became lost over the sea on the first and crash -landed on Texel ( POW ).  P-51D  44-14969 LH--G  " Lady Grace II ".
                    Jeter had engine trouble on the second mission and was last heard from in the Liege-Brussels area ( KIA ).  P-51D  44-14972  YJ--G.                             Nick
