Michel,

You will find in attachment a copy of the award order for the Air Medal on 30 March 1945. Harris Yates is in the list. You will find his ASN and his rank. I will check in the following days if I have further information on Harris.

He joined the 392nd FS in February 1945. He passed away on 27 December 1999. His last known address was in Arkansas. I hope that it will help you.
