Lt Modzeleski 474FG-430 FS became MIA on December 17 1944.It seems that he went missing in the St-Vith area. My question , is this correct ?

According to MACR list, there are several P38 lost on dec.17 1944 for 474th FG.
The serial number of  the  plane would be of great help.

Hi Alain and Phil,

42-68089 P38J was the plane of 2Lt.Theodore Modzeleski 0-672654 who became a pow in Germany (Bitburg area).
Best regards from another side of Belgium.
