Sorry Mike-----the problem is pilots going down in someone else's plane ! Barlow's P-47 was "Flak Bait" YJ--B bar; this was lost in the N. Sea on May 29. He was flying Max Hungate's 42-22759 YJ--J on Sept. 8 when hit by flak near Frankfurt but evaded. Couldn't find a serial for "Flak Bait" though. There are photos of the 3 pilots in Graham Cross's 353rd history but I'm afraid the book is too big for my scanner. ! I'll check the 339th newsletters for Lynch / Perry but don't recall any photos. Cheers Nick
