Lt. Anthony Willoughby - 04/29/2007 11:06:30 PM
looking for any information on this pilot or the planes he might have flown in the 100th. According to their website my uncle was a crew member with him, possibly for at least 5 missions before transfering back to the 94th BG. Any help is greatly appreciated!

RE: 2nd Lt. Albert M. Willoughby crew - 04/30/2007 08:39:33 AM

The only WILLOUGHBY crew listed in the 100th BG is a 2nd Lt. ALBERT M. WILLOUGHBY

It always helps to know the name of the airman we are looking for info on,what is your uncles name?

I can confirm that Lt. Willoughby completed his tour on the March 9th,1945 Frankfurt mission, flying a/c # 840 Radio Call Letter H in B-Sqdn

Clint

Regarding your uncle, Emery B. Hutchings, BTG

The 100th BG database has him listed CPT flew 2 Tours

Since he arrived at Thorpe Abbotts with the Willoughby crew in late August,or early September,1944 flying 5 misions shortly after then transferring to the 94th BG finding info for that brief period with the 100th BG on him will probably prove to be differcult, but not impossible.

Jack,
Thanks for the reply and I apologize for my mistake I knew it was Albert and not Anthony I guess the later was stuck in my head from something else. I knew most of what you said about my uncle in the last posting from the 100th's website but not if anyone had any other info bout the willoughby crews. I kinda thought finding any information bout the short 5 missions with the 100th would be hard but thought i'd try it. I think I'll probably just stick to his tours with the 333rd/94th BG.

Thank You!
Clint
