Looking for transcription volunteers - 12/26/2005 12:24:45 PM

The 320th BG Reunion Association is looking for volunteers to perform transcription of 320th WWII documents.

We are currently trying to transcribe all the crew loading lists for all 586 missions for the 320th. It is a large undertaking and could certainly use any help from those interested. The benefit of having the lists transcribed is that they could then be searched by the crew member's name. By simply typing in a last name on the 320th website, one could instantly identify all the missions in which that individual was involved.

In addition, we would like to transcribe the war diaries for the 320th squadrons. The 444th has already been completed by one of our veteran's daughters, but the remaining squadrons are still in need of transcription.
To learn more, please visit us at: www.320thbg.org

If interested, please e-mail me at: freisdorf@320thbg.org

Best wishes,
Franz
