Looking for pictures of 882nd Sq Nose Art - 11/20/2006 08:14:35 PM
I am currently working on a project concerning the nose art of the 882nd Squadron's airplanes.  I am interested specifically in the pictures of nose art prior to April 1945. The airplanes I am looking for are:
   1. Z Sq 27 - "Heavenly Body" or may be "The Cannuck"
   2. Z Sq 29 - "Gravel Gertie"
   3. Z Sq 30 - "Sting Shift"
   4. Z Sq 36 - "Li'l Abner"
   5. Z Sq 37 - "Belle Ruth"
I have checked most web sites for the past two years and have not been able to find any of the nose art of these five airplanes from November 1944 until April 1945.  Any help and pictures would be most appreciated.
