My old name was wsjax4 but I lost my password and have a new Internet provider so I now have a new screen name.
 
As I have said before I am looking for info on Sgt. Elmer A. Sheppard of the 47th BG (L), 12th Air Force.  A roster would be awesome. 
 
Does anyone know where I can buy a replica patch for the 47th?

Hello, it is Mark here again, just wanted to be sure you got my reply on the patch request. I don't have the 47th BG patch but I do have the 5" dia. Bomber Jacket patch representing the 97th BS of the 47th BG. If you are interested, I will give one to you. Just need an address. See attached photo of patch. Mark[image][/image]

I am new to this web page and don,t know how to send information. I am interested going to this years 47th bomb group reuion and would like to purchase a 97th squadron flight jacket patch. I was a pilot and flew 60 missions with the 97th. in 1944 and 1945.

Elmer - not a good idea to post your email and Phone #. Bad guys pick up on it.
Go to edit and delete them.
You can probably get a patch at the Reunion
