Hi Tony

I don't know if you are aware but your Great Uncle is listed on the 'Wall Of The Missing' at the American Military Cemetery at Madingley, near Cambridge, in England. If you would like a photo of his name on the 'Wall Of The Missing' i can get one the next time i am at the Cemetery. Just let me know. Also the name 'Ole Tobe' came from a mule. I have a photograph of the mule but sadly not of the B-17.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Chris.

I didn't know about the his name on the wall, and I would love a picture of it.  Would also love a picture of the mule...is there a story behind that??  This means so much to me, I want to know as much about my uncle as possible...ever since I went into combat in Iraq, he has become such a hero to me...I now understand a little of what "our greatest generation" went through and accomplished, and have such an appreciation and admiration for them!

Thank you

Tony,

You are welcome and thank you for your service in Iraq. My grandson, Sgt Justin Aguilar, is a Ranger and serving there on his third tour. Don't know where he is or what he is doing but pray for him and all of you daily.

Hi Tony

I have sent you a 'PM' message with my e-mail address then i can send you the photo of 'Ole Tobe'.

Also are you aware that the Harold A. Johnson crew which were lost on June 13th 1943 was slightly different to the original crew listing when they came to England in April 1943. I will give you the original list when i send the photograph to you.

Regards

Chris.
