Your best bet might be to Email the 390th Research dept. at res390th@aol.com Carolyn or Gene could probably give you the crew list, where they were interned, and if the surviving crewmembers are members of the 390th BG Association, where they are currently living.
Better yet, drive down to Tucson and see the museum if you haven't already. Go on a Monday, that is the only day the Research Department is open.

Hugh
Thank you for the suggestion. I have been attempting to obtain support from the 390th. As you will learn after reading most recent correspondence I seem to be required to prove members of the 390th were held at Wauwilermoos, and desire the POW medal before thay make an effort to assist.

Hello,
I would like to share portion of a letter received yesterday from (name omitted), the daughter of the late F/O Richardson.
He will be posthumously awarded the medals long over due by Brigadier General Johnston. They will be presented to the daughter.
Continue to search support for the approximate 200 airmen including members of the 390th. I have been sending substantial amount of material to a number of offices that clearly justifies the POW medal currently being denied by the AFBCMR. Only two have been awarded the medal to date. One in 1996, and the second in 2006.
The most recent request was submitted last year only to be denied by the same Board. Since you are located in a different district, perhaps your organization may be interested in submitting the material to your Congresswoman.
I would be happy to send by email.
Regards,
Robert E. Johnson

Robert Sabel:
I do believe this letter should be addressed to Robert E. Johnson:
Reference is made to your email of July 14, 2008, to the 390th BG Memorial Museum Director, he in turn forwarded your message to the 390th BG Research Department.
We were pleased to know that Flight Officer Charles A. Richardson will posthumously receive the medals that he so richly deserved for his service to our country.
We have nothing to submit to our Congresswoman at this time as we have no 390th BG veteran who has requested documentation from us for medals earned but not received.
