Zed, I got this list from the Official Army Station List of 1 Jul 1943. It was located at the Center of Military History, in Washington, D. C. There are many more you have never heard of, in the list.

Hey Zed, here's an idea. Perhaps the Arizona State University library has the old college yearbooks from that time. The CTD might have been part of the yearbook....?? University Library might also have old newspapers from that time. Maybe an article on the CTD. Good hunting, Ron

Mark, Can we get this information up on one of the Wiki pages? I have this CTD file and one you have of the Base Units from May 1 1945. I'd be happy to pitch in. Matt

ORIGINAL: zed334v Mark Great list. May I ask where you found the data? My dad was in the 315th CTD and I have been unable to find any info. any Ideas? Jim Jim, I found out recently that my dad was at the 99th College Training Detachment at South West Missouri State Teacher's College (now Missouri State.) I looked up their web site and sent an inquiry to the Provost, asking if they might have any records on my dad and the College Training Detachment in general. My request ended up in the Records Department and with the Chief Archivist in their Library. They had a couple of record cards from my dad's attendence in the records office, which they sent to me. While their library didn't have anything specifically on my dad, they did have a number of news articles from the time about the cadets' campus life and well as a letter of several pages written to the college by a former cadet and some other documents that went with it. It was facinating information. I would suggest a similar strategy and drop an e-mail to the provost's office of the college where your dad was at. All they can say is no, but hopefully you will find people who are willing to help you out and will send the information that they have. I did have to send a copy of my dad's death certificate, but once they had it they were very helpful. Mark Kelly
