Liberator crewman dressed for mission

This is part of the Hump Pilots Tribute display at the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins, GA.  The mannequin is dressed as a B-24 crewman prepared for a flight across the "Hump," the Himalayas between China and India.

I had to include this artwork.  It's a panel by "Steve Canyon" creator Milton Caniff.

"Steve Canyon salutes all you Hump jocks -- pioneers on a route where the air was thin and the rocks were not!"

[Note the B-24 (or C-87) in the upper left corner of the panel]
