 Letter C not used in the 354 FG?

Letter C not used in the 354 FG? - 05/29/2008 09:11:34 AM
Was going through the new 354th FG book and notice that there was no aircraft that had the letter "C" in all three squadrons so I got my Claim book by Mr. Olynyk.Checked through that with no letter "C" aircraft in there either.
I was wondering if anybody knew why this was the case.
If it is in the book I missed it because I have not read it cover to cover.Sorry I look at the photo's, a/c list first.
I know this is an odd question but I think it is interesting .

Not sure of the reason why, but the 353FG did not use the letter C in any of their squadrons either.
 
Would be interested to know the answer to this one too.

Hi Ashley,
You are correct checked the Little Freinds web page .
Have the 353th FG book but no list in there.
Do you have anything on the 353 FG since you brought it up.
353 Fg use to be the main Group I was looking for information on but not much out there (should have known this) and got side tracked.
Now I look for any FG during World War 2 for the most part so I can build models but don't get to many done .

I have been researching the 353FG for the last 15 years so have amassed quite a lot of info.
 
Not so many photos but I am happy to try and answer any questions!
