Trying to find out which base CLINTON KYER 'ClINT' was based at during 1943-44, He used the LANGER,BOTTESFORD,BALDRTON lorries to come into Nottingham. Very little information available at this time im afraid but will try and get more ASAP.

It seems all our attempts to find this chap have failed. We have asked my relitive again to confirm the name and she stands by it Clinton Kyer,Kayer,kieher etc

stationed at balderton,langer or bottesford 9th Army airforce MIA November 1944

Can anyone shed a little light on this please

On going through the Group personnel lists it seems that the closest match would be 94th Sqn Glider Pilot Clifton H. Kizer though it is almost impossible that he would have been in that area in 1943 as the group only set sail for the UK in Feb '44.
