Hello

I'm searching of any information available on Lt James F. Casey from 78th Fighter Group / 84th Fighter Squadron MIA and POW on june 10th 1944 over Normandy. His P-47 D 22 RE  tail number 42-26149 crashed around Argentan area.

Is anyone have an access to his MACR  N° 5579 ?

Let me thank you for the informations you gave me, this is really great !
Lt James F. Casey's P-47 engine is probably the one which is displayed in Omaha beach museum at Vierville-sur-Mer, Normandy and found in the town of St Georges d'Annebecq, near La Ferté-Macé.
I'm just waiting about answer from the museum regarding the engine serial number, I'm now able to compare with the one shown on his M.A.C.R.
