Jack Y Capps, my grandfather - 06/24/2004 01:22:11 PM
Jack Y Capps, my grandfather, was a nose gunner with the 20th combat mapping squadron stationed in PNG and Biak. He was originally from Alabama. I am interested in any stories or pictures related to him or the squadron. He particularly mentioned a 13th mission in which an engineer named Lane saved the life of the entire crew. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated. Jack passed away about 4 years ago and I didn't take the time to write down his stories. Thanks, Jonathon Douglas [signature]
