My father flew with the 346th FS in North Africa but was sent home after Pantelleria. The 350th FG is still active with reunions and a lot of historians.
Let me know your direct email and I'll forward your request to Hugh Dow, a former 346th FS pilot.
You know there's a book on the 350th FG
Also have patches for the 350th FG and the old cobras and skull 346th North Africa patch before Goofy in a 347.
Son of Ron Macdonald Flying Sgt. 59th OTU RAF (Hurris & Spits, Dieppe raid), Lt. with 346thFS/350thFG North Africa (P-39s). Shot down at Kasserine. Instructor with the 1053 BFTS Randolph, 2138 BU Craig, 2532BU Randolph, & 2543 BU Waco (AT-6s & B-25s).

Got it. Sadly, my local rural server is in the bucket for outbound emails until the owners show up for work and fix it. Will try to get them out at lunch time.
If I forget, your uncle's name is second from the top on page two of each document and Colonel Dick's signature is embossed over with a seal that says "8th Air Force Headquarters" around the outside and "Official" through the middle.
