Information on my father's squad - 04/12/2007 03:44:54 PM
My father is Julius M. Carter who flew with the 44th bomb squad most often on a plane named "Sweater Gal" with the following crew members:  William Earleywine, John Steib, Gerald Clinch, W. Tomaszak, William May, B. B. Cronemeyer and Francis Dieck.  The aircraft number is 42-95124.  I am looking for any information regarding the crew members or recollections or photographs that might help me piece these war years together......He is still living and I would like to document these things for him.  Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Pilot - Lt. Warren Rogers
This B - 24 could have been named Sweater Gal previously but I can
find no reference. No other 44th BG  B-24 with that name.
Will keep looking.
