I got a few notes from Marvin and it seems you guys have my name wrong. The correction would be Roderic D. Larocque II. I know my handwriting isn't all that great, so this should have us all cleared up. It looks like i will be unable to attend the reunion this year, but i hope to make it for the next one. Hopefully it will be on the east coast either south of georgia or north of new york, as i live between florida and massachusetts and can plan to be at either location fairly easily. i was also thinking it would be great to try to coincide it with the collings foundation tour so we can all get to play with the big birds as a group. I wouldn't mind helping out any way i can. I just found a copy of "This is how it was" online and i can't wait to read it. i found it used for 30 bucks shipping included. i did another search and found this book to be selling for as much as $250 bucks, so i snapped it up as quick as i could. I am wondering how many of these were printed, how many times it went to print, and what the chances are that Sammy could autograph it for me. I plan to bring it to the next reunion to have as many of you guys sign it as possible. Thanks. Rodster

I will try to find more, and I will go through his letters soon and see if I can find anything else I think the group would be interested in. We still have all his log books, his flight bag, and a bunch of other stuff.
