I AM LOOKING FOR ANY INFORMATION TO HELP A FRIEND OUT ON HIS FATHER. WE DO KNOW THAT HIS NAME WAS HERMAN DAVIS SEALES AND HE WAS A CREW CHIEF ON B-29 IN THE 3RD PHOTO RECON SQUADRON AT GUAM DURING 1944-1945. HE WAS ALSO ONE OF ONLY A FEW SURVIVORS OF A HORRIBLE PLANE CRASH ON THE ISLAND OF GUAM DURING THE LATER PART OF 1945. THE DETAILS OF THE CRASH ARE SLIM. THERE WAS A FIRE AND HE WAS BURNED.SOME OF THE AIRCRAFT THAT HE DID MENTION ARE THE "DOUBLE EXPOSURE". IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFORMATION ON THIS SQUADRON OR ANY PICTURES THEY DONT MIND SHARING PLEASE WRITE ME BACK. WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE HIM IN ANY PICTURES. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP AND GOD BLESS AMERICA!

    I belive that my grand father was the only other survivor of that crash his name was SSGT Kenneth E Larson . That is about the only story that I have heard about him .He died before I was born so I dont know much ,but what you wrote was what I heard from my mother 15 years ago. I have many pics but not much info on what he did . I have lots of pics of the base in Guam 1 of the plane with full crew in 8"X10" along with buddys ,a sight of a crashed plane #44-1985 and the Incendary strike on Otake oil refinery.
