Howard Pardue/F8F crash

Sad to report the loss of long-time airshow, air race, and heritage flight pilot Howard Pardue and his F8F Bearcat.   I used to attend the great "small airport" airshows he organized at Breckenridge 20 years ago. I know Howard also restored and flew a Wildcat and a Sea Fury. 
Reports say he crashed on take-off  in the Bearcat.
