Harry Miller

I am the grandson of Harry J. Miller. Originally he was from St. Louis Missouri, and now resides in Flint Michigan. From the little info I have been lucky enough to get from him, I have gathered he flew with the 5th AF 90thBG, possibly the 319th or 321st squadrons....I am not sure on exact plane, I have heard of a few...so I assume they switched from time to time...I want to also say Taylor was his crews commander?? And some ship names they flew were, Tokio Express, Asterperious Special...I do know also he was supposedly a Flight Engineer, and also that one of their last missions was shot down and him and a few other guys excaped to friendly lines??? Any info on him, his crew, planes etc., would be appreciated...I am currently in the Military and would like to compile a sort of family tree of military history. Thank you. My home email is tjm_designs@comcast.net

You let you grandfather know you want to know about this part of his life if he is comfortable with talking with you. If he is still alive and you can try to speak to him while you can. Our son did a History Project in 9 TH Grade with his grandfather about being at the Japanese Attack at Hickam and some of his service after that. My father is gone now, that report got our son an A+. More than that it is our best source of so much information and it helped me to track down much of his past in the military.

For my parents anniversary I had a sheet of REAL US POSTAGE STAMPS made for them at Zazzle.com They are approved by the US Post Office to do this. The other company gave me so much trouble about this photo. It is over 60 years old, there were NO copy right issues, but the other company did give me trouble. I wrote to my state senator and he sent me to Zazzle.com because he uses them. I had another sheet with my fathers service patch made into real stamps. They loved them!! http://www.zazzle.com/ The wedding photo is the one I am showing here they made into stamps. [image]local://upfiles/14753/B9D72795BD494B7798C90911BA60DFAB.jpg[/image]
