Happy 107th Birthday to Chaplain Brown

On July 17, 1901, before the Wright Brother's first flight at Kitty Hawk, James Good Brown was born.
Today, July 17, 2008, he turned 107!

On July 21, 2008 I accomplished the long-held goal of visiting the old airbase at Pyote, TX. Lots of Texas scrub growing up through the old runways and, the occassional road runner scurrying about. While there, I had the pleasure of calling the Rev. Brown via cellphone; he did not know that only a couple of structures remain at the base. He was in good spirits and spoke of the 'life-covering' book he is working on. Here's a smart salute to all 381st veterans ! (ps. if anyone has WWII Pyote photos, I hope they will post them to the 381st website).
