Hello,
 
I'm looking for information on Vincent Spaziano.  He was my Great Uncle and I'm doing research for my dad.  I found a reference to him being a member of the 19th early in the war.  He appearently was awarded the Silver Star and the DFC, but I've found no other information.  I do know that he was unfortunately killed by friendly fire over Germany while while flying fighters in the 339th FG, 503FS.
 
Any information about his time in the 19th would be very helpful.  Which squadron?
