Got Photo? - 11/30/2006 05:33:31 PM

I am a modeler and need a photo of my fathers jug. The nose art was a picture of
Daffy duck. The ship was named 'Miss Jim'. I need the  aircraft tail number, color of
rudder (blue?), numbers on side of fuse (4W-?).

371st FG 406th squadrom.

406th FS Squadron colors at attachment extracted from www.harwood.plus.com/9thFC.htm

The fine folks at Millville (NJ) Army Airfield Museum http://www.p47millville.org/p47-millville.cfm?pageName=History-OTU-Pilots might have some additional information and would most probably like a copy of the photograph you provided.
 
Take what you like and leave the rest....

Thanks for the info Huey. Got another picture but still no
tail numbers or numbers on side of fuse. Crew chief Jim Scholenberger
is on wing in photo.
