"Flying Irishmen" B24 crew - 03/25/2008 09:10:55 PM
I'm posting this again, not sure if it went out the first time - apologies if it shows up twice.  Anyway, I'm good friends with Jim Cavanaugh, the tailgunner for the "Flying Irishmen".  He believes that they were in the 848th, but not positive.  Would love to find out some more about the plane & crew for him ... a picture would be teriffic.  Any help very much appreciated.  Thanks,  Bruce

I have Jim as being with the McMullen crew but then was taken of the crew when it was broken up ?.  I am at present looking at some records to tie this down
