Hello,
 
I will like to know which the mission of the Group was on February 5, 1944.
This day there the Fortresses of the 8th attacked the airfields of Chateauroux and Avord , France.

Frederic           this was the 356th's mission no. 46, escort to 3BD  B-24s whose primary target was Meslay A/F. The 50 P-47s were led by Lt. Col. Malmstrom , no claims or losses but there were 2 early returns.
Landfall-----St. Valery
Met  B-24s------Mammers
Broke escort-----Blois
Crossed out-----St. Valery
2  B-24s were lost.                                   Nick
