F-5 serialnumber 43-29026 - 01/14/2008 07:33:04 AM
Hello ,
 
Who was the pilot off F-5 # 43-29026 who was lost on december 24th 1944. What happened with the pilot and where did the aircraft crashed  ?

That would have been Lt. Jeryl D Crowell MACR 11080. F-5E - 27PS.

Sorry forgot to mention he was lost KIA due to enemy aircraft fire over Somme Leuze, Belgium.

Lt. Jeryl D Crowell. 27th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron. Lt. Crowell was killed in action on 24 December 1944 in F-5E 43-29026 due to enemy action near Somme-Leuze, Belgium.
