"English Mother" at Bury-St. Edmunds - 07/25/2008 03:05:33 PM
Hi,
My grandfather was stationed at Bury-St. Edmunds with the 94th Bomb Group, 331st Squadron. He was a waist gunner on Sunnie's Big Stoop, shot down on 1/11/44.

He mentioned in one our talks, having an "English Mother", all I could find on her is the 1st initial & last name - N. Halis.

I'm assuming she would have lived in the Bury-St. Edmunds area.

If anyone might have any info on this woman or her family, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Tom
